The food at Monsoon tantalizes the taste buds with their authenticity and rich flavors and are a feast for the eyes as well. Their sushi bar produces flawless sashimi platters and maki sets best enjoyed in the tatami area where, in true Bahraini style, simple Japanese straw mats are covered in red and gold cushions. The favourites are Thai Khao pad sapparod served in a hollowed-out pineapple, blowtorch Maki sushi, a combination of fresh tuna, Hamachi fillets and Salmon topped with torched crab and tobiko cream, and scallop ceviche with a chimichurri aji yuzu among many others.
