Known as al Qal’at al-Bahrain, Bahrain Fort is one of many of Bahrain’s inscribed UNESCO World Heritage Sites. The archaeological findings unearthed in the fort have revealed much about Bahrain’s history and its rich past and gives insight into the era of the Dilmun Civilization. It is a sight to behold as you walk through the ruins and momentarily step into the past. The fort also holds a variety of cultural events throughout the year and is truly one of the most magnificent and well-preserved pieces of Bahraini history.
