Possibly the very first trattoria-style restaurant in Bahrain, Cico’s cuisine is unpretentious, with a focus on taste and quality that never disappoints. Established in 1978 in Adliya, Cico's has become a firm favourite with a number of foodie generations now, and this is one of those places to go for a taste of old-school Bahrain restaurant style. This Italian eatery offers a delicious variety of traditional Southern and Northern Italian dishes, all of which are hearty, wholesome and lip-smackingly good! We’re usually torn between the delicious cappelletti vitello – little stuffed hats of pasta filled with veal, parmesan, crushed cherry tomatoes and truffle oil – and the salmone prosecco: a grilled Scottish salmon filet with prosecco and spinach butter sauce. The décor is classic Italian tavern style, with replica grapevines, whitewashed stone walls and checked tablecloths giving off a very Italian vibe. Cico’s trattoria-style atmosphere is perfect for a quiet lunch with friends or a loud family dinner, with everyone welcomed here with a smile! Besides the stellar service, the food really is an experience in itself. This eatery has a wealth of awards to its name, including Best Atmosphere, Best Restaurant Personality and Restaurant of the Year. Buon appetito!!
