Places to eat
Envisioned byBahraini entrepreneur Leila Al Shaker, The Orangery is inspired from the tearooms in the United Kingdom and vintage-style buildings across Europe.
Focusing on clean and organic eating, the menu is small and simple yet wholesome, created by celebrated chef Susy Massetti. tsA section of healthy juices, beneficial for different areas of the body, and the salad bar areare an impressive sight with 10 different salads prepared each day; options may include sweet potato with sweet chilli, sweet onions and coriander or a salad of beetroot, goat cheese, pomegranate molasses, and mint.
The Orangery’s Afternoon Tea is an event by itself. The best teas from Sri Lanka are served with mini savoury sandwiches, pastries, and homemade scones with jam, presented in a three-tiered stand. Guests can enjoy the traditional afternoon tea, or the cream tea, which is served only with scones and jam, as wel asa wide selection of teas.
The bakery at The Orangery makes its own exquisite desserts. Enjoy a selection of cakes, macaroons, pastries, homemade chocolates, and more as a perfect end to a meal, or have them in the garden setting with a cup of tea or coffee.
